This Week In TD
Or, 1967-85.
This week I have been mostly finishing up my Tangerine Dream In The 1970s re-write, which adds six more years to the story and calls the whole thing The Pioneering Years.
When eventually I got paid by Stephen “You Won't Hear A Word From Me For Nearly Five Years” Lambe and received the rights to my book, it didn't take much thought to make me realise what next to do. A lot of my fellow unpaid authors were going to self-publish their retrieved works, but I wanted to create the book I would originally have liked to have written. That concluded the TD tale in 1985 with their final great album, Le Parc.
My next job is to read it through then get on with a cover design. My friend Steve Dinsdale of Radio Massacre International has let me use one of his 1980 Newcastle gig photos of Edgar Froese.
I'm expecting to have the book ready for next month.
